The 2 mm thick RootBlock is the heaviest partition from our range (other thicknesses available on request). Heavy and yet the lightest one to use thanks to its length of 5 meters and its very strong and tested coupling. RootBlock is suitable for any type of root and soil and has for many years been an integral part in combating the unchecked growth of roots in many cities and towns.
Partitions protect the infrastructure against root problems. They also protect roots from being pruned that is required if no partitions are installed. The minimum distance from a tree to a partition is 1.5 m1 (depending on the type of tree, please contact us). This on account of the fact that partitions do not guide roots but only stop them. In most cases partitions are only applied in a linear way, not around trees, or the distance to the tree should be so large that stability is guaranteed. RootBlock Plus is made from certified HDPE and all couplings are inspected before they leave production.
RootBlock Plus also has the GW125 label for Germany and the partitions come with a 50-year guarantee.
